Diaper Information

• diapers are 100% cotton with no gels or chemicals
• cotton is breathable and natural
• we have an anti-bacterial rinse that is activated when the diapers are soiled and it prevents bacteria from forming
• we use very high germ killing temperatures in our cleaning process through 13 stages of washing and rinsing
• we pH balance the diapers to match a baby’s skin thus preventing rashes
• the diapers are rectangular shape with 6 layers of cotton in the center and 4 layers on either side
• they are absorbent but not waterproof. You can use pins and nylon pullover pants, or form fitted velcro covers without pins. See our accessory list.

Comfy Cotton supplies a flat, rectangular shaped diaper called a Chinese Pre-Fold. It is not a fitted diaper. Using a Chinese Pre-Fold diaper is extremely convenient when you secure it with a fitted velcro diaper cover. Using fitted diaper covers to hold the diapers in place instead of old fashioned diaper pins brings modern convenience to the age old tradition that promotes early toilet training. For new customers it can be difficult to imagine how a fitted diaper cover with velcro will hold a rectangular shaped diaper without velcro in place. Please have a look at the following diaper folding instructions to get a better idea of how it works.
