Comfy Cotton Diaper Service essentially rents you the use of the diapers your baby needs, sized for the baby's age. We come once a week, on the same day, to pick up the soiled diapers and leave a fresh supply.

When and How to sign up
We recommend that you sign up for the diaper service about a month before your due date for a first diaper delivery two or three weeks before. With the diapers delivered ahead of the due date, they are ready and available for when the baby arrives. Just call us when your baby arrives to resume the weekly service.

Service Information

Diapers

The diapers are owned and supplied by Comfy Cotton and ALL diapers must be returned when you arrange for  a final pick up.

You will be provided with two sets of diapers that will circulate over a period of two weeks.  This will allow you to have one set in your home and one set in our plant.   We monitor the circulation of your diapers by counting them each week.  The final count will be made when you arrange for a final pick up and you will be advised to return all the diapers.

We deliver the first set of diapers around 2 - 3 weeks before the baby's due date.  We will NOT return to your home until you call us to resume our service after your baby is born. 

The three diaper sizes we supply are:

  • Newborn from 4 - 8 lbs
  • Infants from 8 - 20 lbs
  • Toddler from 20+ lbs

We normally start a baby with 70 infant diapers.  That allows 8 - 10 changes per day as recommended by Health Care professionals.

The amount of diapers that will be delivered weekly depends on the amount of soiled diapers we picked up.  Example: If your weekly order is 70 but you have used and returned only 50, 50 diapers will be delivered to you on your next delivery.

Delivery and Pick up day

Our driver delivers in your area once a week and because he is handling more than 100 deliveries each day plus weather conditions, traffic, etc., you may not get your delivery and pick up at the same time.  He may arrive at your door early or late on your delivery day.  Please continue to leave your soiled diapers outside until the driver has exchanged the bag.

We recommend that you place your soiled diaper bag(s) outside the night before your delivery day to avoid missing the driver. Please call our office for options if you missed the pick up.

If you did miss the pick up and you did not call the office, no delivery of clean diapers will be made to you the following week with your request, we will however send the driver to pick up your soiled diapers.

It is essential we collect your soiled diapers each week so that we may clean and return them the following week.  Extra charges may apply if soils are not collected or soiled diapers become moldy and damaged.

Carbon Filter

A free carbon filter is provided once every two months to help reduce odor from the diaper pail.

Suspension of Service

If you suspend our service for whatever reason and you do not know when you are calling back to resume our service, you must return all diapers.  Please call 2 - 3 working days prior to your delivery day to arrange for a pick up of all diapers.

Adjustment

We will credit your account for the week(s) that you requested no service (no delivery or pick up), but you will have to advise our office at least 2 - 3 working days prior to your delivery day to stop the delivery and pick up.  The credit will reflect on your statement.  Wewill adjust the cycle if you are in a Baker's Dozen package.  We do not give a credit for a pick up of soild diapers even though you stopped the delivery.

Inventory

If you have accumulated too many diapers (more than your regular supply), please mark with your customer number and return these diapers to us in a seperate bag.  We will be counting them.  Returning these diapers to us will not reduce your weekly order.  It will just remove the excess diapers from your account.

Public Holidays

Our office will be closed but our devoted drivers will be working, except that there might be some delivery changes for Christmas and New Year holidays.  You will be notifed well ahead of time if your delivery and pick up falls on the same day these holidays are celebrated.  Please continue to leave your soiled diapers outside until the driver makes the exchange.

Registration Fee

A registration fee of $40.00 plus GST is added to your first bill and will be credited to your account at the end of your first year, provided you continue using our service.  There is a minimum service commitment of four weeks (non-refundable).

Billing

We use an equal billing system that is based on a three month cycyle or a period of 13 weeks.  The amount per month depends on your weekly rate GST included.  The equal billing works as follows:

Example:      Weekly rate   x   13 Weeks   ÷   3 Months  =  Your monthly rate 

We process an invoice every time you place an order for any accessories or other products and the amount will show on your statement along with the Invoice Number (this is a one time charge, not a double charge).

Your statement that shows all transactions is printed on the first day of each month, if you are paying monthly.  If you have made payments or adjustments etc., after the date the statement is printed, it will reflect on your next statement.

You will not receive a monthly statement if you have purchased a Baker's Dozen package (pre-pay for 12 weeks and get the 13th week free).  A new invoice is processed at the end of the cycle and the Baker's Dozen will continue provided we receive your payment.  If we do not  receive  your payment within a week from the date your invoice was printed, we will change your billing to monthly.  Please be aware that the free week has no cash value and may not be redeemed or refunded.

If you are a brand new customer and your prepaid four weeks expires before the beginning of the new month, you will be invoiced for the difference and the monthly charge will begin in the month following.

Payment

We require payment in full every month.  Please make your cheque payable to Comfy Cotton Diaper Service Inc, and write your customer number on the front of your cheque.  Payment is due on the date of your statement.  Please be sure to fill out your cheque completely and correctly before sending it to Comfy Cotton.  We charge $20.00 for any cheque returned to us by the bank.

If you are paying by Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard) and your credit card has expired or you have a new credit card number, please notify our office immediately by calling our local number 905-940-8118 or our Toll Free Number 1-888-759-3945.

Gifts

If a gift has been purchased on your behalf and the gift has expired, you the customer will be responsible to pay for all future invoices on your account.  If you do not intend to continue with the service, you will need to notify our Customer Service at least 2 - 3 business days prior to your delivery day.  Please be advised that the service will continue until further notice from you.

Referrals

If you have referred our service to a family member or a friend and the person signed up for our service as a result of your referral, you will get a referral credit equivalent to one week of what you pay, when you notify our office.  This credit is made available to you solely for use in connection with our service.  This credit has no cash value and may not be redeemed or refunded.

Cancellation

Your little one is potty trained, and you are ending our service.  We commend you for choosing the right diapers for your baby, and for protecting the planet they will inherit.  Please call our office at least 2 - 3 working days prior to your delivery day to arrange for a final pick up of all the diapers.
